Ikkyu was a famous eccentric Japanese Zen monk known for his sharp wit. However, his later years were characterized by erratic behavior. For instance, during a mayoral funeral, he was invited to pray, but instead, he peed on the gravestone. On a New Year’s celebration, he walked around town with a skull on the tip of a long bamboo stick. He was a patron of a brothel and often hosted orgies with prostitutes.

In the early 2000s, I had a vivid inspiration of Ikkyu falling from the sky into New York City and joining an SM club. He then teamed up with two sadistic ladies in latex to form a band called Black Dharma, and they performed unique dance music with high-tech instrumental gadgets in random places to enlighten people. Unfortunately, I had to leave NYC before bringing this idea to fruition.

Now in 2023, I am looking to materialize this idea and am seeking two women who would be interested in participating and creative individuals such as sewers, choreographers, computer musicians, animators, and graphic designers. If you’re interested, please DM the author for more information.
