Be kind to your Kidneys

You tend to think and worry excessively, which makes it difficult for you to fall asleep easily. According to Chinese medicine, this could be caused by Yin deficiency. Yin represents a calming, stable, and grounding energy that requires balance with its counterpart, Yang. During my Shiatsu practice in a past I was shocked there were so many people with this energy tendency. Yin deficiency is commonly addressed by nourishing the Kidneys.

For the past three weeks, I have been practicing this Kidney nourishing Qi Gong routine, which has significantly improved my sleep quality and overall sense of grounding. I find that I am more at peace and calm.

Damo Mitchell, a respected master in Nei Gong and Taiji Chen, currently based in Bali, is my current Taiji Chen teacher. I am fortunate to be learning from him and benefitting from his expertise in these ancient arts.
